Improvements to access to the Town Council’s play area on the Village Green at Great Holland had the unanticipated effect of making the openings to the main road easier to the point of being dangerous. New barriers have now been installed.
The seafront shelter opposite Oxford Road, Frinton on Sea is now fully restored. The work was 50% funded by the Essex County Council’s Community Initiatives Fund. The restoration, as usual now, is to a very high standard and the shelter is probably looking better than it has done for a hundred years. Do have a look if you are nearby. Work starts soon on the similar shelter opposite Garden Court.
